Hotels Near the Grand Canyon National Park

It seems like that every where you go in Grand Canyon National Park, there’s another amazing and exciting attraction. And, it doesn’t matter which ones the hotels are in close proximity to. When deciding where to stay during your trip, do some research on the hotels in the area, and find out which ones are nearest to the attractions. Then, you’ll be able to decide where you want to stay on your trip, depending on the activities you want to partake in while enjoying the national parks and forests.

If you love being outdoors, then you will want to find a hotel that is right next to some of the prime spots. You can choose to stay at a hotel that is just a short distance from the observation deck, observation tower, or any other interesting landmark that is located in close proximity to the park. You’ll want to take this into consideration, when trying to decide where to stay, as you want to be as close to all the fun, as possible. This will allow you to see everything more clearly, and be prepared for your vacation.

If you love being around animals, then you’ll want to find a hotel near the National Park itself. Some of the most popular areas that tourists love to visit are the Windy Ridge, Sunset Caverns, and the Keelwalks. All of these sites are popular among locals, as well as out-of-towners. There is a lot of excitement to be had at these sites, whether you’re enjoying the natural beauty or simply taking a wild ride on the train. Another popular spot is the Hoover Dam. While it may not look as exciting as the other sites mentioned here, it still offers a lot to see, and will certainly make a wonderful stop on your Grand Canyon tour.

If you plan to hike the Skywalk, you’ll need to find a hotel close to it. The best hotels will be around the eastern rim of the Grand Canyon. The closest ones are the Seven Suites Hotel and nearby Casa Natal Resort and Spa. Both of these places are within walking distance to the Skywalk. In fact, they are also very close to the restrooms, and Seven Suites Hotel and Casa Natal even have free shuttle service to and from the airport!

For those who like to do a little sightseeing, but would rather stay at a hotel a bit further away, try the Seven Wonders Hotel. It has rooms in its grounds that are actually inside the National Park. You’ll be able to walk down the cement path to the Skywalk from your room, and there, you can view the incredible scenery that fills the area. This hotel is also very close to several dining locations and shopping opportunities.

If you’re looking for a little less formal accommodations, you might want to stay at Comfort Inn Grand Canyon. The Comfort Inn is one of the most secluded and private hotels near the Park. There are no freestanding hotel facilities anywhere near the Park. This is a great choice if you’re traveling with your family or just want to have a more private space. This hotel offers three types of rooms, all with private bathrooms: Holiday, Studio and Ranch.

There are other options for hotels near the Grand Canyon. You might consider staying at one of the many Strip hotels. These hotels aren’t too far from the main attractions, but since they’re in the Strip, you won’t feel as though you’re taking a step backward in time. They offer amenities like cable TV, coffee makers and free high speed Internet access.

Another option for a hotel near the Park is the Westin Horton Plaza. The Westin has several rooms available, and it’s just a short walking distance from the Park itself. It also offers complimentary breakfast each morning. If you’re planning to take a hiking trip during your trip to Arizona, you can try to find a room at the Ramada Resort, which is right on the grounds of the Park.
